Reservation

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am, with a 1-hour tolerance.

Can I reserve more than one room?

Yes, you can book as many rooms as needed, whether because each of you prefers to have your own private space, or because you want to stay together in one of our larger suites, perfect for groups.

Can special requests be made in my reservation?

Special requests are usually related to the type of beds, location or view of the room, additional amenities in the room (such as extra beds and so), early check-ins or late check-outs, as well as facilities for people with disabilities. If you have a special request, you must contact the travel agent directly or contact our reservations department to ensure that your requests have been noted in the reservation. Room assignments are subject to availability at the time of arrival, and we CANNOT guarantee any special requests prior to arrival.

Is there a minimum age of guests?

Marival Emotions is an adults-only hotel, so all guests must be over 18 years old.

What is the difference between the rates of the European Plan (EP) and the All-Inclusive Plan (AI)?

Our All-Inclusive rate includes the accommodation of your choice, all meals, food, and beverages in our restaurants and bars, entertainment, and a series of sports and activities. The European Plan is exclusive to our members. For more information, please call 800 326 6600 from Mexico and 1 877 222 0302 from the US and Canada.

Is it possible to use the facilities of Marival Residences Luxury Resort?

Guests will not be able to use the facilities. However, they may consume in the restaurants of Marival Residences Luxury Resort with an extra charge for service consumed.

Can you bring pets to the Resort?

For hygiene and safety reasons, no pets may access the facilities, except guide dogs.

What types of payment do you accept?

Credit card, when booking from our website; debit card, credit and deposits when booking by phone, and some OTAs accept booking and payment upon arrival.

Are tips included?

They are not included, but they are welcome.

Do you have rooms equipped for people with disabilities?

Yes, we have some rooms equipped for different needs. It must be specified when booking, as they are subject to availability.

Can I make special requests on my reservation?

Special requests typically refer to bedding, room location and/or view, additional room amenities (i.e. rollaways, cribs, etc.), early check-in/late checkout and handicapped equipped accommodations. If you have special requests, please communicate your needs directly to your travel agent or contact our reservation department to ensure your requests are noted on your reservation. Please be advised that room assignment is subject to availability at check-in and we CANNOT guarantee any special requests prior to arrival.

Changes and cancellations

How do I cancel my reservation?

You can contact us at 800 326 6600 from Mexico and 1 877 222 0302 from the US and Canada, to let us know of changes or cancellations to your reservation. Please note that these may incur additional charges.

Can I change my reservation?

Any change is subject to the availability of rooms and services and may be subject to additional fees.

All-inclusive

What does all-inclusive mean?

Our all-inclusive rate includes accommodations of your choice; all meals, snacks and beverages served in our restaurants and bars; plus entertainment and a variety of sports and activities. For detailed information on what is included in our all-inclusive rate, please click What's included.

Does the reservation include activities?

Yes, our animation team is ready to make your stay something you won't forget! We have a wide variety of activities for all tastes.

Does the reservation include tours?

No, all tours must be contracted additionally.

How do I make reservations for tours?

Contact our travel agency to make tour reservations.

Will the Entertainment Team’s activities and events still take place during my stay?

Yes, our entertainment team is ready to transform your stay into one you will never forget! We have a wide variety of activities available for everyone.

Is Internet access available?

Marival Emotions Resort & Suites offers both wired and wireless Internet access for hotel guests. The cost is $10.95 USD plus tax for 24 hours; the wireless signal is available in your room, the lobby and restaurants plus limited areas on the beach and around the pool. Internet access is also available in our Business Center during normal business hours. The rate is $25 MXN (approximately $2.50 USD) per 15 minutes. Rates subject to change without previous notice.

Do you have room service?

Room service has an extra charge.

Do you have internet service?

We have free internet service in the Lobby Club. For rooms and other areas, wireless and cable Internet services are offered at an additional cost.

Do you offer day passes?

Day, night and full day passes are available. Please contact our reservation department for rates and information.

Is there a laundry and dry cleaning service?

Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered at an additional cost.

Is there an ATM machine on the premises or nearby?

An ATM machine is located within walking distance.

Is the Hotel-Airport transportation included?

We have a transportation service at an additional cost. It can be reserved in advance of your arrival.

Do you have currency exchange services?

Yes, at reception and with specific hours.

What is the dress code for specialty restaurants?

In some restaurants, formal casual is recommended (no beachwear, plastic sandals, and caps). Men must wear pants or shorts. Surf shirts or T-shirts are not allowed.

Do you have a vegetarian, gluten-free, and/or vegan menu?

In all our restaurants, we have vegetarian and gluten-free options. In case a vegan dish is required, our chef can support you in any of the restaurants.

Is room service available?

Our all-inclusive rate includes all meals and snacks plus beverages served in our restaurants and bars. Room service is also available with surcharge.

What theme nights do you offer?

Our buffet restaurant offers theme night dinners; reservations are not required. For detailed information on theme nights, please click Theme Nights.

Can I make dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants before I arrive?

Reservations are required at our a la carte specialty restaurants. Restrictions apply. For further information or to make your reservations.

What is the dinner dress code at the specialty restaurants?

The dinner dress code in our a la carte specialty restaurants is casual formal (no beachwear, flip flops or baseball hats). Men must wear long pants; no tank tops or t-shirts allowed.

Are laundry and dry cleaning services available?

Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. In addition, self-service coin-operated laundry facilities are located on the premises and are open daily from 7 AM to 10:30 PM. Laundry and dry cleaning services are not included in our all-inclusive rate. Tokens are available for sale at the front desk.

Are babysitting services available?

Babysitting services are available with surcharge. For current rate information or to schedule services, please contact the concierge desk a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

About the destination

This is my first trip to Mexico. Is it safe to drink tap water?

Marival Emotions Resort & Suites has a water purification system so the water from the tap is potable, which means you can drink it. Because of the purification process, however, the water may leave an aftertaste. For this reason, some guests choose to drink bottled water. The tap water is, however, safe for bathing and brushing your teeth.

How safe is it to travel to Nuevo Vallarta

Feel completely safe visiting Nuevo Vallarta and its surroundings. In this area, all the necessary measures issued by the different health organizations have been put in place to safeguard the safety and integrity of everyone who visits.

This is my first time to Mexico. Can I drink the water?

Marival Emotions Resort & Suites has a water purification system so the water from the tap is potable, which means you can drink it. What preventive measures do I have to follow to make my trip safe?

It is very important to follow all the prevention measures established by the WHO, the Federal Government, and the state and local authorities.

Will all consumption centers be open?

All consumption centers are open from June 1, 2020, and follow all quality standards, for your satisfaction and safety.

Will the buffet service be open?

Yes, by following all sanitation measures and the highest quality standards that have always been respected.

What health measures are being implemented?

The usual standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene have been increased, even more than what we normally handle, such as antibacterial gel dispensers, cleaning of rooms with ozone-generating machines, review of collaborators before entering the hotel, among others.

Do you have medical service in the hotel?

Yes, we have an in-house doctor 24 hours a day.

Are there hospitals near the hotel?

Yes, the nearest hospital is 0.88 miles away from the hotel.

What sanitation measures are being implemented?

The usual standards of cleanliness, security, and hygiene have been increased, to a higher level than what we usually impose. For example, antibacterial gel dispensers have been installed at different places in the hotel, rooms are being disinfected with ozone generating machines, even check-out points have been added for our team to go through before entering the hotel premises, among other things.
